Gives the beginning of the Church and its early growth, despite persecution and internal problems. God used men like Peter and Philip in preaching the gospel (Christ’s death and resurrection) and in miracles of healing and casting out evil spirits in Jerusalem, Samaria, and Judea. And Peter opened the gospel door to Gentiles. Then Saul, the persecutor, was saved.
